The four Skipray Blastboats of this squadron operate as a hunter-killer pack, often deployed from a base and roving as far as three adjacent systems away in search of lightly escorted convoys or lone, unsuspecting warships to strike. Skipray Squadron 432, also known as the Widowmakers, was given the battlefield designator of Omega in its sector of operation.

It is capable of 360 degree rotation allowing maximum flexibility for any given situation. The craft boasts a unique variable operation mode regarding the aft dorsal fin. This explains its continued use in outer-rim planetary patrol fleets, as well as smugglers reliance on the durable craft. The most popular variant, the GAT-12h has proven to be an exceptionally reliable ship. The ship began to sell on the open market and as the Skipray Blastboat gained fame and reputation it became a staple of corporate, security, pirate and smuggler fleets.
